BMDM Software Releases

New versions of the Battery Monitor Data Manager (BMDM) software and firmware have been released. There are many new features and enhancements in this release, including the long awaited Assisted Commissioning Program (ASCOMP), which greatly assists with commissioning and warranty validation.

Some of the major additions and improvements include:

• The Assisted Commissioning Program (ASCOMP) has been added.
• Individual cell resistance alarm threshold setting is now available.
• Auto extract time is now adjustable on a per-string basis.
• Test schedules can be set by absolute day or daily interval.

The New Cellcorder® CRT-400 Cell Voltage and Resistance Tester
Lightweight, stylish, rugged and durable!

The Cellcorder CRT-400 is Alber's newest handheld cell voltage and resistance tester. This exciting addition to Alber's test, diagnostic and trending products measures and records cell float voltage, internal cell resistance, and intercell connection resistance.

The Cellcorder CRT 400 features optional Bluetooth® technology that lets the technician focus on the batteries and test probes, without having to read instructions on the display. The CRT 400 communicates via an earpiece, delivering commands describing the next steps and confirming results. This feature will be especially appreciated in dark or noisy battery room environments.

Another exciting feature is a new USB port and Flash drive that allows quick transfer of data files to a computer. Using the Alber Battery Analysis Software, test results can be displayed and analyzed to determine battery state of health. The Flash drive also doubles as an interim storage device until test data is saved permanently. As a bonus, the Bluetooth option can also transfer data files to a computer.

BDS-40 Battery Diagnostic System
Designed and optimized for UPS battery cabinets!

Each BDS-40 unit monitors all batteries in one cabinet.The Base Unit is where power and communication connections are made. Each additional battery cabinet in the system then uses a Plus Unit, which transfers data to the Base Unit. One Base Unit manages up to five Plus Units, for a total of six battery cabinets. Choose an internal network card and/or a dial-up modem.

New Windows®-Based SCT Single Cell Testers
Two new models offer you a choice of test load current.

Designed for 2 volt cells, the SCT is the perfect complement to the Cellcorder. After the Cellcorder identifies a potentially bad cell, the SCT assesses absolute battery capacity using a load test compliant with IEEE. Automatic operation and safety circuits let you program the unit and start the test. New SCT Single / Multiple Cell Tester software offers an interface that eases setup, use, and report generation. Configure setups that define location, cell type, and test type - Capacity or Profile - then save the setups for quick, future setup and consistent testing.
