To determine if a battery has conduction path problems, the battery
must be subjected to a load current of 50 amps or more. The momentary
load test is performed only long enough to obtain a reading under
loaded conditions.
The Alber MLT-12
momentary battery load tester is a compact, portable tester that
provides pass/fail status for 12 volt modules. The MLT-12 features
a 20 second, automated load test at a 50 Amp continuous load
and displays pre-test voltage and voltage at the end of the load
test.
This rugged,
lightweight unit completely rejects AC ripple and is ideal for field
testing.
